Fall down seven, stand up eight

...but sometimes, all it takes is one grave mistake to watch the world you knew come crumbling down like falling dominoes, like a sturdy castle that has been built for centuries collapse when it is besieged and attacked by a far greater opposing army.

There is the adage that says, "fall down seven, stand up eight" and we ought to learn from our mistakes and failures, but what happens when you fall so tremendously hard from a pedestal so high, you shatter every bone in your body to the point of paralysis? What do you do then when all you can do is lay in your misery and agonizingly wait for the Grim Reaper to arrive at your front steps?

You were supposed to have a luminous life ahead of you, you calibrated and collated every move you were supposed to take to pursue the dreams of a rewarding future...but what do you do when you are utterly fettered by the underbelly of your past, to have the heft of the wrong choices you've made upon your shoulders, immobilizing you?

...what do I do now?
